Each portrait is made using free motion machine embroidery, where I use the sewing machine needle to 'draw' my design by moving it freehand, this fantastic process means that no two items will ever be the same.
These portraits are A4 ( 210 x 297 mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches approx) and as standard come stretched over stiff card, making these quick and easy to frame. I also have a framed option in the drop down menu, the frames I use are deep set black A4 frames, with no glass in front of the embroidery. They can be shelf sat or wall hung.
The Natural coloured canvas I use does sometimes have lines and flecks etc in, this is part of the fabric.
